The Grizzly Groundswell has always been a calling I have been following for some time now. You have made this success possible! God has blessed us with so much!

Inspired by my great grandfather, E. W. Everson, I set out to unite the conservative thought across this wonderful nation in not only a visual way way with finding great conservative bloggers in each of our 50 states, but in a tangible way with blog posts from our wonderful Grizzly Groundswell blog Authors as they share the their conservative thought right here in my backyard www.grizzlygroundswell.com

The Grizzly Groundswell has been blessed beyond measure. We launched the Grizzly Groundswell on July 27th, 2007.

Then, instead of applying for grants, or waiting for handouts, we launched the www.grizzlygroundswellradio.com along with three online radio shows at www.blogtalkradio.com

• Grizzly Groundswell: Grizzly Groundswell Blog Network that extends www.grizzlygroundswell.com conservative thought into voice. This show is now featured on the blogtalkradio.com front page!
• TheGGRNetwork: The Grizzly Groundswell Radio Network expands conservative thought and gives it voice. Conservative bloggers are inspired and assisted into this online radio media. It is the original Grizzly Groundswell strategy, just a new media, online radio. The home site that unites all our Radio Hosts together in a network is www.grizzlygroundswellradio.com

However, feeling a calling to unite the conservative voice across this Nation there is one more network that is needed for the Trifecta!

You may have surmised that I love horse racing and this Saturday, Big Brown is going to attain the Triple Crown at the Belmont Stakes. I predict that the Big Brown Grizzly Groundswell will attain the Triple Crown of Conservative thought, voice and (?) into Grassroots action!

The above image is one that depicts my little Empire. I call it a Web 2.0 Empire Sandwich!

After a roller coaster of a couple days I think I solved my approach to attain all our goals. You see, I am much better at lifting up others to attain their goals then my own. I am not a man who is inward focused. Yet, I am learning. It took a Kansas Home School Mom with a little tough love to help me see this path, with a little divine intervention. Now if Dana just came out and told me what to do, the Norwegian in me would of hardened my heart. However, Dana was able to show me, by her own actions and good council the way to Awaken, Stand Up and Step Into Action to accomplish this goal.

My back was up against the wall. I saw this great idea and my hopes and dreams come tumbling down like building blocks I played with as a child. You see, Dana, one of the best home school bloggers out there and soon to be the voice of homeschooling with her radio show was prepared to take action and make her dream happen with or without my Grizzly Groundswell Network. She is disciplined, creative, talented and principled. Thus her blog title: Principled Discovery.

To be honest, my heart was dropping into my stomach. If Dana did not need the Grizzly Groundswell Radio Network, maybe conservatives across this nation did not need it. Money was not showing up on my sites or in my mailbox. It seemed to me that I was going to be letting everyone down because I did not have the capital to accomplish all our dreams. I even bought Powerball tickets hoping God would bless this venture. However, I should know better. You see God does not lead me along this calling in that way. Everything in hindsight is easy and blessed, but when you are in it, up to your neck, it is never that easy. My faith and steadfastness is shaken at times. The sunny side of life, is not easy to always maintain and there are moments of despair, and doubt. Even a man blessed as I am, I often struggle. Daily I struggle.

Last night I returned from my Dave Ramsey part time job cleaning floors at a local grocery store, tired and feeling sorry for my lack of capital and honestly financial wisdom. I despaired my lack of business acumen to throw this together and attract capital like I am able to attract good friends like you and Dana. Feeling sorry for myself is nothing new. It is followed by despair, doubt and fear, yes, Fear! I am neck deep and I just do not want to let all these friends and conservative down. I don’t want to let the spirit of my great grandfather down. Hell, at this point, I don’t want to let our wonderful country and all the conservatives within it down.

Then, as I walked away from Dana’s conversation on the instant messenger I climbed into a hot bath. My think tank if you will. My self pity, doubt and fear faded and I relaxed and listened. I ran my predicament through my head and once again rolled it over and over in my head. i guess I am describing my creative process here. Laying myself “bear” if you will.

I asked myself, “why don’t I just think of what is best for me? Why do I always have to carry and worry about everyone else?” Ok, the self pity is present through out the process. Even if I would want you to believe it is not a factor, honestly, it is.

So I rolled out a scenerio. What if I launched the radio shows I was intending to create? So I rolled that through my overtaxed head. I realized something…the light bulb and small fireworks display commenced. I am sure if my wife was awake she would of smelt burnt toast. “Did I have a solution?” I trembled to ask myself.

Being pessimistically optimistic, I ran the scenario through my melon again. “My God, blessed am I” I whispered.

I leapt from the bath and barely dried myself to clumsily wrangle my bed clothes on. I stumbled into my darkened bedroom to my trusty laptop computer. I had to see if Dana was still on to thank her!

She was, thankfully and I tried my best to explain my solution and tried to make sure to thank her for her council and conversation that broke the damn loose so I could find this solution.

Well, now it is day and morning is turning into mid afternoon. I have not slept and my mind is still racing. I am so excited and thrilled to solve this and actually get into action, I can barely keep up with my thoughts as I pound this out on Mozilla Firefox’s ScribeFire.

It is actually a very simple solution: simplicity, simplicity, simplicity.

It costs me nothing but time and talent. Well, that is not true. It will cost me $30 per month and the cost of the URL and hosting, which is already paid for the next 2 years. However, with such low overhead the up side is the earning potential is limitless and it is a great step into that goal of a 24/7 steaming online radio network. In fact, it may get us there sooner then later.

My solution is really depicted in the image above. However, I will post it again below here to refocus from this long post. However, every word is important.

Again, as a child I constructed empires out of my wooden building blocks and today, I do the same. If we start at the bottom block here, you will notice it is: Web 2.0 with some of the free sites I utilize to get the word out about what I am doing. We all utilize these sites and that is what gives them the ability to turn a profit with the advertising they can deliver to us. America, it is wonderful.

Well, these web 2.0 sites are really wonderful and free to utilize. The more we utilize them, the more they make and the more people find us. It is a great symbiotic relationship. That is what drives all of my sites, my networks and my friendships. In a good relationship there is give and take. Interdependently we are upheld by the other and a third, but that is another post or dissertation.

Everything I have created in my online empire rests upon this web 2.0 strategy. The Grizzly Groundswell and GGR Networks are utilizing this strategy.

Now if we move up the illustration you will notice my seven blog sites.

The four sites that are essentially networks are the Grizzly Groundswell (GG), Grizzly Groundswell Radio Network (GGRNetwork), Socialist Squirrel (SS) and Independent Voters Association (IVA). These sites are set up to unite conservatives across this nation. The IVA was my great grandfathers version of the GG and GGRNetwork. The SS is just a fun site where we can all let our hair down and just let loose on the enemy and laugh at their antics as we chase the socialist squirrels out of our institutions.

The other three sites are more theme related blogs sites that will try to bring out those interest areas of mine and provide great sites for others to come and digest the product I create. The Clay Empire is my raku handmade clay tile and mosaic business. E. W. Everson is a blog that is set to tell his story. I am working on a book and movie with the working title, “E. W. Everson: A Better Man then I.” I need to protect the intellectual property present on these sites. Clay Oxen is a blog where I share my interests for old tyme agricultural technology and my life in the dream fulfilled surrounding myself with life.

These seven sites pretty much sum me up pretty well. Like a good artist, my life, thought and interests are laid bare for all the world to see. I do not hide my identity online. I feel it is pointless and in being free to express my thought, I have found it carries a clout that others do not have because they hide behind a character they create. In reality, we all do that, but honesty and not having fear of one’s own ideas is very important I think for conservatives. We need to let other conservative identify themselves in conversations, workplaces and in our local government without fear. Why should we fear our own identities? If anyone wants to harm me, they know where to find me. They may be met greeted also with my two good friends, Smith & Wesson!

Ok, back to the illustration. Just above the seven sites, I then placed blocks of shows that I intend to launch starting next weekend! That is right, next weekend!

I am going to launch at first three shows on two online radio sites. Blog Talk Radio and Talkshoe have won my interest and honestly, I am not here to compete with either of them. I hope I can grow our network so huge that these sights with Kender’s Wide Awake Radio site will fight to have us exclusively on their site. That is a goal we had before and still have. The goals have not changed. The recruiting for hosts has not changed but the terms and steps have. I am no longer offering solutions for hosting. I am suggesting you follow my lead, or Dana’s, Snooper’s, Brian’s, Stephanie’s, Ed’s, Malachi’s and other hosts that have pioneered online radio. We are still going to hit these markets as only Grizzly Groundswell can, but we are going to opt into their revenue sharing agreements and not bother ourselves with having to do everything and reinventing the wheel right away. We do not have the time or capital for that right now. However, we will be able to do this in the future. We just have to Step Into Action, and prepare for that opportunity that will come if our product is good enough.

So I am encouraging you to look far and wide and all these great sites that offer opportunities let’s take advantage of them. This includes video sites as well. If you have the interest and ability I want you to hit with Eight Belles intensity! If you find an opportunity there that we can utilize we will Grizzly Groundswell it with everything we have. We are building with building blocks and our GGRNetwork and Grizzly Groundswell blog Network are going to start gaining traction if we hold together, lift and uphold each other in our dreams and goals.

One last thing about the illustration. You will notice on the top left under the web 2.0 top block, I have Audio Acrobat. This is a hosting service for video and audio. I am going to utilize this for $30 per month to host my content that I need to protect the intellectual property. They provide a widget or html that I can post it on my sites and bandwidth is spared and they have great stat tools so I know who is utilizing my intellectual property and monetize it. This is my solution to the concern over loosing ownership of my most sensitive intellectual property concerns. My E. W. Everson and business The Clay Empire products will be utilized and protected in this way.

One last note on monetizing. I am going ahead and monetizing all my sites. I need to start accumulating wealth so that we can attain our goals and needs to get this conservative message out there. Once again, a great opportunity was unable to be attained because I did not have the capital to wrap it up. This needs to be remedied. I am going to start accomplishing this by opting into revenue contracts with the online radio sites and placing ads on all my sites. I suggest you do the same.

I will leave my assertion that as conservatives we need to start making money on our hard work, for another post. We do a lot of heavy lifting for our parties and candidates. What do they do? They keep feeding the alligator of the MSM rather then rewarding those that truly do the heavy lifting for them. Yet, after all, why pay for milk when you get milk for free? Your grandma must of told you this. We must start taking our efforts more seriously. We must also share with others how to get where we are. In summation, what I am preparing to launch is a Grizzly Groundswell Radio Network that will be a hub centered at www.grizzlygroundswellradio.com and on the GGRNetwork’s online Radio Show. It will be a GGRNetwork where all I am currently asking to be a member is three things:

• Your prayers and dedication to making your own online radio show the best it can be while promoting other GGRNetwork members shows & sites with blog roll reciprical links and also placing a GGRNetwork Badge on your site and Radio show site that I will provide here in the next week or so.
• A modest donation of cash, talent or professional service to assist developing the GGRnetwork yearly at the least. Give Freely, Give Often, but Give only what you can.
• The third thing is simply to have the courage to jump into this with both feet. We need to give this our Eight Belles everything! I will be there as a resource, troubleshooter and cheerleader while these sites and our GGRNetwork members who are veterans in this will also assist if I can pair you up with them.

Once we step into action, we never know what kind of doors will open up for us. If we never step into action, who knows what open doors we will never get the chance to walk through.

Benefits of the GGRN are numerous, but I will list some that come to mind below:

• An invitation as a guest on the Grizzly Groundswell Radio Network online radio show where the topic will be you and your radio show!

• Instant audience: Think about it, there are 26 of us right now, let alone the vast armies of blog site readership that is yearning to listen to this new media venture. Most online shows are happy to have 4-6 active in the chat room and listeners for the first six months. Almost each and everyone of our shows should at least have 10-30 listeners built in and curious about what you are doing and rooting for you to succeed.
• www.grizzlygroundswellradio.com blog where you can hype your upcoming shows, post content pertaining to todays show and place your radio show player on your own radio show page. (I can host a show blog for you such as www.grizzlygroundswellradio.com/your-Show for a small fee, great for those who do not have a blog yet for their show)
• The opportunity to become apart of something bigger.
• The ticket to the possibility that this could really be the next great big thing in conservative online radio. It is going to be harder to get into this as we grow and have success. Getting into it on the ground floor is hard work for little ROI right away, but the possible reward is even greater.
• My goal is to have a 24/7 streaming radio network. If you help me attain this goal, I will remember that as will all other GGRNetwork members, listeners and supporters.
• You get to expand your blog or site with an online radio show, then you get to multiply that times every member of the GGRNetwork. The potential is huge for market share.

This Article states that the IVA will announce it’s wonderful recall of the NPL’s elected officials.  This is what happens when socialism is present in government:  Corruption, Theft and Abuse of Power!

Let’s not let this happen today!

I thought there would be a lot of sighs and hands up even though you are reading this on a computer screen.  However, you are wrong.  There is hope!  I know a man, and his friends, who brought Socialism to it’s knees and exposed it for the corruptive influence it is! 

Yeah, he was my Great Grandfather, E. W. Everson an immigrant, farmer, business man, justice of the peace, and representative from Walum, North Dakota. 

I can hear you now, North Dakota?!?  Who cares? 

Well, if you want to be an idiot, you will not care.  Scurry on back to the nest with the rest of your nuts!  If you do care, I am inviting you to assist me in revealing one of the most exciting moments in political history! 

You see, this immigrant, this lowly farmer who came to this country in 1866 with his father and had to raise himself, find love and homestead the wild North Dakota prairie, Saved us for almost 100 years from having to be enslaved to socialism. 

E. W. Everson did not do it alone.  He orchestrated the Independent Voters Association and united conservatives not only from the Republican party but the Independent and Democrat Parties as well to win back the Republican Party that was stolen by the socialists A. C. Townley and his Non Partisan League. 

They did it, even recalling a Non Partisan League Governor after they exposed the NPL’s corruption in the socialist institutions they implimented in their socialist experiment that has scarred North Dakota’s volatile infancy. 

The Time has come again for an Everson to battle Socialism and like my Great Grandfather, I can not do it alone.  I have set out to unite the conservative voice and ready the faithful for the battle to come.  You can find our efforts to bring the conservative message to the nation on the Grizzly Groundswell.  Inspired by my Great Grandfather and who he was and what he was able to accomplish, I named the movement after his nickname given to him by his adversaries in the Non Partisan League.  You see, E. W. Everson had the temerity to be the original insurgent challenging the leadership of the Non Partisan League to have equal representation of the members and elections for the officers along with accountability for the funds that flowed into the party and dissapeared.  For this temerity, he was defamed and politically destroyed by NPL leadership.  E. W. Everson’s family seemed to be the only one’s who were affected by the political pressure vised up by A. C. Townley and his henchmen.  E. W. Everson stood firm in the Townley Tornado and even though he was being devestated in their tactic.  He was “the man who would never quit.”  He was underestimated, like us Everson’s enjoy and add to our strategic prowess!  They thought this Norwegian would fold in shame from what they were throwing at him.  However, They did not understand that you never tell a Norwegian that he has no input.  You surely do not sleep with two eyes closed when a good Norwegian knows you have done wrong and abuse your office and their trust.  I think, in everyone’s life, one man finds they have an arch enemy that they need to keep in check.  A. C. Townley found E. W. Everson and vice Versa.  These two if they could of only joined forces may have ruled the continent.  However, There is a vital difference between right and wrong.  Grey area is for those who have to apologize for their actions and they are not man enough to face what they have done.  I think that E. W. Everson was called to a battle that had more than just politics to it.  There are stories that A. C. Townley was a dark arts meddler.  E. W. Everson had faith that moved mountains. 

There has been a sense of knighthood passed down in my family, or a fondness of knights and their steeds defending the defenseless.  I remember old prints of knights hanging in my grandfathers home.  In fact one of the things my father looked for was an old print that had hung above his and his siblings bed as a child.  It may be a romantic view of the world and the demons we all face, but I am not sure.  I guess I just need to prepare in case some dragon or socialist squirrel raises their annoying head.

I have coined the Socialist Squirrel as the polite term I and my friends can utilize when refering to those fools who promote and defend socialistic thought and illogic.  I think it is a very good fit.  They appear almost cute, funny and harmless until they get into your home and make a terrible mess leaving you homeless and with a terrible bill without anyone to be held accountable!  Never trust a Socialist Squirrel, especially with your vote!

Well, I hope you are still entertained and curious who the hell this E. W. Everson is!  You will not find him in any North Dakota History books especially textbooks that I had in public school.  No, there is a huge lesson to be learned here. 

You see E. W. Everson, if there was a fault, it was that he did not teach that next generation that socialism would raise it’s ugly head again in their lifetime and for them to be ready for it.  The IVA and E. W. Everson never did deliver the death blow to socialism.  I do not know if it is even possible.  Sin, because that is essentially what socialism is, will be with us human’s for a long, long time to come.  So we must teach our generation and all those that follow us into the arms of our creator that we must be ever vigilant against socialist squirrels!  It is ok to have one or two around for some comedy, but with each one, you are pushing your luck.  I have seen many a good man and farmer fall for the deception of socialism. Fools the lot of them!  Ill gains do not last long.  Socialism, lasts forever. 

We are looking at a socialist squirrel gang of DNC candidates running here in 2008!  Minnesota has sent too damn many of them to Washington and our own house and Senate!

 We have a lot of work to do to rid ourselves of these pests.  We have to clean up our institutions and our government.  They are even running our faith institutions into the ground!  We must stand firm with resolve and call a socialist squirrel agenda or idea what it is….Nuts! 

Let’s work hard here in the coming days to get the word out to these socialist squirrels and all thier nutty self interest groups that we are done hunting rabbits and now we are hunting squirrels!  Chase them out of our institutions and government back to the tree hugging Nazi socialist Squirrel homes with all the rest of the Nuts!
